Job Description
As a Lead Data Scientist Scientist, you will:
- Lead small team of data scientists and engineers to build ML-based solutions
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and product teams
- Communicate and articulate complex issues & technologies
- Think through problems and drive solutions from inception to shipment
- Serve as a technical lead and create intellectual property
- Keeping abreast of research trends in the field of Deep Learning/vision/NLP
The Successful Applicant
As a successful candidate, you will have:
- PhD/MS/BS in computer science, engineering, or mathematics with focus on computer vision/NLP/Deep learning
- 4-8 years of experience in building and leading complete ML products; from the problem analysis and data selection to their production deployment and monitoring.
- Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in deep learning/computer vision/NLP
- Ability to rapidly prototype and evaluate algorithms
- Experience with deep learning framework such as Keras, PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Domain experience in Fintech is preferred, but not mandatory
- Startup mentality: comfort with ambiguity, a willingness to learn and improve
- Published in top-tier conferences and journals
