Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Role Overview:
We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about cloud and data, has a strong interest in data quality and engineering, and wants to join our collaborative team as a Data Engineer – Cloud Platform to help drive the high data quality of our enterprise product family. This role will report to the Engineering Manager within the Artificial Intelligence Research Group.
Working at our India site, you will exhibit a deep understanding of cloud technologies, be able to support and build big data pipelines using public Cloud Platforms and have the capability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
About the role
As a member of the AI Research group, you will be designing and maintaining a platform that enables McAfee’s cybersecurity threat analysis capabilities
You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver big data solutions.
You will design and implement test plans to validate the end-to-end functionality of data pipeline and data stores that enable research, development, and productionization of data and AI powered threat analysis systems.
About You:
. 4+ years of related experience with relevant academic background
Experience writing maintainable code using programming languages such as: Python, Scala, Java
Experience working with big data architectures, ETL pipelines and data stores.
A foundation in Data Science and Machine Learning principle
Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Experience with DevOps practices an advantage
