Roles and Responsibilities
You will lead a highly self-motivated and independent team which finds pleasure in dealing with complexity of scaling ML platform and enjoys simplifying the ambiguity underlying Natural Language Understanding.
- Lead the team of Machine Learning Engineers as Tech lead and People manager
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Machine Learning, Platform, Infrastructure and business teams
- Create and maintain training and inference pipeline for machine learning models in production
- Build reusable frameworks for experimentation, deployment and monitoring of ML models
- Come up with ideas to improve NLU capabilities, build prototypes and benchmark on public as well as company’s Datasets
- Write about interesting problems that you solve, participate in conferences and contribute in open source communities
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in technical leadership, managing team of 2-3 engineers or data scientists
- Passion and experience for building production ready ML training and Inference pipeline
- Eagerness to scale and automate Machine Learning prototypes to create business impact
- Familiarity with fine-tuning models on large datasets
- Experience working with ML libraries such as Pytorch, TensorFlow, MXnet or similar
- Experience with at-least one of the NLP projects amongst information retrieval, machine comprehension, entity recognition, text classification, semantic frame parsing or machine translation
- Relevant open source contributions, engineering blogs or talks delivered is a bonus
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of work experience
