Job Location: Pune

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data
• Compile and analyze data related to business’ issues
• Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion
• Support business decision making by – formulating hypothesis, structuring the problem, analyze relevant data to verify hypothesis and document effectively to communicate the results with insights
• Work actively with the sales team to identify user behavior hypotheses and conduct experiments to validate the same.
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.
• Work with the management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business unit.
• Work with department heads to outline the specific data needs for each team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Computer Science or Information management
• 1 year of work experience as a data analyst or in related analytics area
• Proficient in MS Excel and SQL
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
• Expected to handle problem statements end to end from ideation to implementation.
• High-competency in written and verbal communication skills
• High bias for action, able to hustle and work with others in a fast-paced, team environment and to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Results oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can work individually with minimal or no supervision
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
