Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram

Main Responsibilities:

• Tool/Software Development: Design, prototype, test and deploy automation of CAE processes and tools.
• Discuss requirements and design concepts with customers and project partners.
• Developing concepts for the digitalization of engineering workflows
• Design and implement automation tools for engineering processes with Python
• Data Management: Develop tools to efficiently share and manage global data and knowledge.
• Dashboards: Design automated metrics dashboards to support early design input and monitoring progress.
• Support Methods Development: Help develop tools to implement customer-focused Mando-specific best practices.
• Stretch Assignments: Work includes exposure to different vehicles systems and types of problems, including stretch opportunities outside of core responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience of scripting using Python (C++ is a plus)
• Independently develop assigned modules.
• Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to work independently.
• Quality Conscious software solutions developments.
• Good communications skills are required Skills (Verbal & Non Verbal) and prior customer support experience is a plus.
• Must understand & abide by the company policies, ethics and culture.
• Experience in Abaqus or HyperWorks APIs is a plus.
• Interest in the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Python libraries: Numpy, Wxpython / PyQt, Matplotlib is a plus

Education & Experience:

• 3-4 yrs. experience in Python / C++.
• Strong expertise in data structures and algorithms and database development using SQL
• Solid understanding of computer programming, software, and GUI development (WX python is prefered)
• Experience with engineering process mapping, development, and automation is highly preferred.
• Understanding of systems engineering and optimization.
• Passion to deliver for the customer.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work across business analyst and developer roles.
• Team player, ability to work with cross functional teams concurrently and across multiple sites.
• BE/ BTech Engineering required; advanced degree (M.S / M.Tech) is a plus. (Computer Science, Mechatronics etc.) or similar (Physics, Math etc.)
