Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Applicants must be a self-starters with the ability to collaborate, educate and report to both the wider team and management, providing assistance to the support team as needed, while also handing off day to day support in an appropriate manner, including documentation and education, to save the role from becoming entrenched in support, and prevent key person risk.
Also must have the ability to speak with key stakeholders and clients in an eloquent manner with a very good grasp of the areas outlined below, but also technology in general as the role may be required to speak with clients as a part of the sales process or to assist clients with connectivity challenges etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Take ownership of onboarding new clients into Analytics platform. Candidate will have to talk to the client get their requirements and build out the necessary calculations in order to deliver the necessary reports.
- Actively engage in product development by implementing new product features and analytical calculations
- Assist current clients with their questions about data and calculations
Competencies:
- Experience working in investment management and/or financial analysis, preferably in portfolio analysis, order management and/or investment accounting/General Ledgers.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst into Analytics.
- Familiarity with Python is a plus
- Basic understanding of databases and tables with some understanding in SQL programming
- Prior experience working with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a major plus
- Prior experience in data analytics and SQL programming is also a major plus
