Responsibilities
This role will facilitate data movement (ETL) across the organization, in order to support all functions within LOOP. You will create data pipelines and automations that will allow analysts the ability to assess risk, report performance and improve product offerings. You will expand our existing databases with new sources and views, automate currently manual processes and implement new technologies to be more efficient and unlock new insights. Design and develop data solutions that allow automated and self-serve consumption by our data partners and work collaboratively across the company to solve data challenges wherever they arise.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of data engineering experience
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Preferably significant experience working with GCP
- Strong communication skills
- Insurance experience, or other consumer facing product experience, is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, manage priorities, and exercise sound judgment
- Highly proficient in SQL, Python, shell scripting
Details
- This position is for full time, remote work, with the option to work out of our HQ in Austin, TX
- $75,000 – $125,000 Salary ranges are used in good faith, depends on experience and are subject to change
