Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California is seeking a full-time AFSIM study lead to join our Military Operations Analysis team. In this role, you will lead problem solvers and software engineers to conduct analyses of military utility, survivability and system requirements. The effective candidate will have experience conducting analyses of military technology and interfacing with a broad range of DoD customers.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical discipline (Operations Research, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Math, etc.)
• Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years or be in Continuous Evaluation (CE)
• 3 or more years conducting AFSIM analysis of military systems
• Technical proficiency with government analysis tools (ESAMS, Suppressor, EADSIM, Brawler, etc)

Desired Skills:

• DoD customer engagement experience; including development and delivery of presentations
• Expertise with US and adversary military airborne and surface systems
• Scripting/programming experience (C++, Python, MATLAB)
• Experience leading a small team of Operations Analysts
• Experience managing budget, cost and schedule for small/medium sized projects
• Experience with proposal writing/review process
• Experience conducting analyses of military systems
