Our Business Intelligence Developer will be working on a cloud-based solution for acquiring, identifying, verifying, transforming, and hosting data for our customers. It also enables the deployment of predictive analytic solutions for real-time API integration into business workflows. They will work with a multi-functional engineering team collaborating on modernizing our BI reporting capabilities.

You can expect to

• Demonstrate your knowledge of BI Development to help define and validate various use cases across our analytics efforts.
• Develop new reports and migrate existing reports from Birst to Qlik.
• Partner with product development to automate the scalable delivery of high-quality BI solutions for use in advanced customer analytics.
• Assist customer delivery teams in gathering and refinement of client requirements.
• Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and standard methodologies.

You have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ Years Information Technology experience
• 2 to 4 Years experience with business intelligence tools: Microsoft BI stack, Qlik, and/or Tableau.
• Writing relational and multidimensional database queries.
• Working knowledge of relational data structures, database design concepts.
• Experience programming in Python, SQL, or equivalent programming languages.
• Experience with Business Intelligence development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of designing and planning BI solutions.
• Debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting BI solutions.
• Creating and deploying reports and dashboards.
• Proven ability to be proactive, work independently, manage your time, and thrive in a remote-based lean environment.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in working with Insurance data, with a focus on Commercial Auto, Casualty, and Property Lines of Business.
