Engineering | MCA candidates having 2 to 5 years of project working experience on Microsoft Power BI.
– Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced visual development in Power BI
Job Role and Responsibilities :
– Experience in creating Power BI reports that represent different findings and insights from the data using interactive charts and maps. And how they are leveraged within an organization
– Strong experience of databases like SQL Server, SQL Azure etc.
– A deep understanding of, and ability to use and explain all aspects of, relational database design, multidimensional database design, OLTP, OLAP, KPIs, Scorecards, and Dashboards
– Very good understanding of Data Modeling Techniques for Analytical Data (ie Facts, Dimensions, Measures)
– Excellent skills in writing DAX queries
– Connect to multiple datasets to bring all of the relevant data together in one place and create reports that provide a consolidated view of the different sources. And creation of advanced visualization like heat maps and many other
– Using Microsoft Power BI publisher for Excel, to take snapshots from insights in Excel, like PivotTables, Charts, and ranges and pin them to dashboards in Power BI
– Good understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation. Upload of Power BI reports to Power BI online service, implement security and audit
– Scheduling of Power BI DataSets in online version and knowledge of viewing dashboards in Power BI mobile version
– Candidate should possess very good communication with strong business analyst skills and able to interact with the customer directly.
– Preferably prior experience of Business Analyst role but not mandatory
– Desirable knowledge in SSIS, SSAS (Multi-Dimensional, Tabular) .
