Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
- The External Data Engineer will be responsible for understanding External Data used at K-C.
- This role will work directly with stakeholders and Data and Analytics team members to develop data products that enable the business to deliver results.
- As part of Data Assets & Monetization team, this role is responsible for delivering the External Data Strategy
- Develop use cases to drive growth opportunities through data products and analytics (AI Factory)
- Develop robust business cases and project ROIs to gain buy-in from senior management
- Partner closely with the Data Governance Team to champion and promote data quality, integrity and reliability
- Partner with Procurement to drive vendor governance: accountability to deliver thought leadership and high-quality data on time
- Translate business requirements to functional requirements for Data Scientists and AI Factory
- Prioritization and optimization of External Data purchases
- Provide data training to external team members to foster stronger cross-departmental relations
- Manage External Data budget
- Bachelor s Degree
- 10+ years of experience with External Data sources
- 5+ years of experience creating and implementing data products
- Expert understanding of external Sales data such as Nielsen POS, Retailer POS, Loyalty Card, and Marketing data such as Macroeconomics, Brand Equity, Consumer Panel, Consumer Purchase data, Social data
- Experience with PowerBI visualization
- Experience with Snowflake Data Warehousing
- Experience creating use cases that leverage internal and External data that drive outcomes
- Bachelor s degree in computer/data science technical or related experience.
- Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and open to working in agile environments with multiple stakeholders
