Job description:

• 7+ years’ experience in SCM Tools, Build & CI-CD environment and automation
• Self-driven and prompt response to ensure seamless operation of the complex software R&D environment.
• Ability to gather customer requirements and deliver end to end automation
• Work with development teams and infrastructure stakeholders, one needs to adapt agility open communication.
• Experience with software engineering best practices code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, release and change management
• Agility to work with large groups of engineers in multiple geographical locations
• Minimum qualification in Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain SCM (Software Configuration Management) environment & tools, proactively identifying and addressing problems.
• Create/Enhance/Maintain SCM tools & scripts.
• Design and develop Python automation to address business needs
• Support development teams with debugging/fixing environment, CDCI tools, builds, test and deployment
• Automation focus – CI-CD support and release process
• Release and Branch management operations

Required skills:

• Good working knowledge of Subversion, GIT and Jenkin
• Hands-on experience with programming languages PHP, Python, REST API, Perl and JavaScript
• Knowledge of containers and micro services.
• Knowledge in make like build systems Electric Accelerator, Incredibuild
• Excellent communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience on agile/scrum methodology
