What is the purpose of this role?
- Build word class data & reporting platform enabling near real time data & insights to the entire business and help transforming Jubilant FoodWorks into a data driven organisation.
Key Accountabilities
- Roadmap, work Prioritization & governance
- Defining a strategic engineering roadmap that aligns with and contributes to the strategic vision of Jubilant FoodWorks
- Enable all stakeholders and leaders on prioritizing on the initiatives/work-streams/features/scenarios based on business value dimensions.
- Setup and drive governance process across prioritized work efforts, bringing all the stakeholders together.
- Demonstrate sense of urgency to identify & acting on opportunity and driving transparency on the work portfolio & utilisation of analytics resources.
Delivery
- Build industry leading data capabilities through a combination of in-house teams and external partner
- Set-up agile delivery framework and ensure all the deadlines are met.
- Set-up framework to manage the priority support for data & reporting platform
- Ensure strict adherence to knowledge management & code management / version control practices
Architecture & Data Governance
- Design architecture to ensure we meet current business needs as well as are able to scale-up for future needs
- Monitor & optimize the performance & cost of data & powerbi platform
- Protect data integrity and accuracy. Perform root cause analysis of issues that hinder the data quality. Work with data source owners to
- increase the quality and accuracy of the source data.
- Drive the implementation of data governance, data privacy and security related processes
People development
- Build a team of data engineers with strong value systems & exceptional skills
- Demonstrate strong practices & passion for teams’ performance management & career progression
- Build a culture of commercial focus, responsiveness & strong code & knowledge management practices
Qualification – Any Graduate or preferably MBA/PGDM
Experience –
- 12+ years of experience building data platforms using real-time as well as batch processing big data solutions
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure cloud platform, Microservices architecture and developing API’s
- Experience with reporting & visualization Tools – Power BI, D3, SSRS
- Exposure to code version control systems
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving work environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate technical insights and recommendations with business customers and leadership team.
