QA Analyst working as part of a BI/Data Warehousing project team and contributing primarily to Automation, SQL database / ETL testing and manual testing. The responsibilities are:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with team in understanding testing need and objectives of project

• Review requirements and create Test plan and following up on the same to get the required approvals

• Create / Review Test documentation with Development team and BA

• Execute test cases and manage in Test management tool

• Data analysis

• Report and review defects with Development team

• Coordinate with BA and Development teams in resolving road blocks and issues

• Contributing in preparing test reports

• Sound knowledge in creating Stored Procedure, Database , ETL testing & Automation (Selenium)

• Should be able to interact with onsite team

• Hands on experience in running automation scripts and identify scope for automation will be an added advantage

Mandatory skills:

• Relevant work experience in testing role

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Technical background and an understanding of the Healthcare industry

• Extensive Knowledge on Testing Process, Requirement Analysis, Test planning, Effort estimation, Execution, RCA and Report generation

• Sound Database skills, mainly in SQL Server, writing complex SQL queries

• Tools & Infrastructure: JIRA, HPQC

• Individual should be able to handle project single handily. Should be able to commence multiple tasks at same time

• Knowledge of Test automation tools Mainly Selenium with any of the scripting knowledge

• Proven ability to work independently with inputs from Lead

• Must be flexible, Pro Active, prompt and self-motivated

Experience / Qualifications:

• At least five years’ experience as manual, database and ETL testing (Informatica, SSIS etc.) & Automation

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology preferably in Computer Science/IT or MCA
