Description:
Responsibilities:
§ Apply data analysis, data mining to understand and solve business problems
§ Collaborate with analytics, technology and business team members to align on and deploy solutions to business problems.
o Skills:
§ Ability to manipulate, transform and analyze large datasets and/or Big Data using SQL, or Python/Pyspark
§ Ability to tell a story with data using reporting and data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft BI, Foundry Contour/Slate).
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
§ Ability to troubleshoot previously developed datasets that have unexpected results – e.g. proven comfort with new/ambiguous data, ability to apply benchmarks to quality check results
§ Ability to effectively communicate to team members about expected timelines and progress towards outcomes
§ Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
§ Preferred: Understanding of Statistical tools (R, SPSS, SAS) and ability to apply concepts to derive insights
§ Preferred: Experience with Palantir Foundry
