Job Location: Delhi / NCR
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to collect and document [BM1] project requirements and business rules. Translate business issues into database and programming plans.
- Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to ensure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
- Participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting software.
- Plan and execute software version upgrade releases and custom interfaces.
- Work with project teams to execute applications.
- Work with project teams as a resource to generate regular deliverables including datasets and reports.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Must have a degree in Computer Science or related field plus minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience or minimum 5 years practical experience with proven track record.
- Must have proficient knowledge of:
- Python 3.x
- One or more common operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.)
- One or more version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc.)
- One or more database services (MySQL, MS SQL Server)
- Relational database design and access methods (SQL, ORM technologies like SQL Alchemy, etc.)
- One or more web frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Pyramid)
- Experience with other development languages (Java, Perl, C#/Visual Basic, PHP, etc.) is a plus
- Must be able to work substantially during business hours of the Eastern Standard Time zone.
- Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
Flexible working hours:
12 PM – 9 PM or 1 PM – 10 PM IST
This role requires a 4 hour overlap to Eastern Time Zone. The candidate is free to choose the working hours as convenient.
