Position: Sr. DBA Lead (Azure SQL)
Work Location: NOIDA
Experience: 9+ years, min 3 years on Azure SQL DB
Role & Responsibility:
The person will work as Sr. DBA/Azure SQL Lead to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple production systems using SQL Server Technologies. He/ She good in troubleshooting, SQL code and optimization and able to code review and optimization. Should lead 2-3 SQL Developer along with production support.
Skill
- Azure SQL DBA experience with Azure Data Warehouse knowledge
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure SQL Offerings (Logical and Managed Azure SQL PaaS components)
- Developing automation scripts for database engineering in PowerShell or other automation languages like Python.
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure pipeline DevOps and coding ARM templates
- Well versed with Azure SQL Administrative tasks
- Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related troubleshooting tools
- Indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration
- Plan and implement data platform resources
- Implement a secure environment
- Monitor and optimize operational resources
- Perform automation of tasks
- Perform administration by using T-SQL
- Database designs (tables, datatypes, stored procedures, functions, etc)
- Critical incident support and interactions with Microsoft
- Strong problem solving and task management skills
- Communication skills effective and amicable communication between groups, developers, testers, designers, and users
- Azure certification preferred
