JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for 2 remote AWS Data Engineers to play an integral part of the buildout of their global ecommerce platform that supports their companion animal health business. The team is currently building out websites and creating standardizations across the organization and the goal is to consolidate into one platform to have a more seamless use of the application for the business. We are looking for engineers who have 7-8 years of professional experience as an AWS data engineer. They will be creating and managing DynamoDB tables and will need experience writing DynamoDB Trigger lambda functions for data processing. This person will need experience writing Python scripts to read data from S3 buckets and will be loading them into DynamoDB tales and Aurora DBs. They will also be migrating data between S3 data lakes and DynamoDB tables. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience creating and managing DynamoDB tables
• Experience writing DynamoDB Trigger lambda functions for data processing
• Experience writing Python scripts to read data from S3 buckets and load into DynamoDB tables, Aurora DBs.
• Experience migrating data between S3 Data Lakes and DynamoDB tables.
• Experience using Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, NoSQL Workbench
