Day-to-Day:
An employer is looking for Data Analysts to join their team remotely. This process is currently decentralized, and this organization is bringing this function together by standing up a Center of Excellence – Affordable Care Act. These analysts will be supporting different clients with different processes in place and will help streamline this function of the business. They will be interacting with internal clients cross functionally via website- not working with external clients.
· Auditing data to decipher whether employees are eligible for benefits or not- produce reports with details and communicate impact to internal team
· Depending on the data, moving people (manually or create import)
· Perform audits around zip codes and addresses – ensure employees are in the right plan based on where they live
· Audit ACA data to ensure employees have the right generated code for your salary, geography etc.
· Handle filing with the IRS
· Responsible for processing 1095/1094 forms for the current tax filing year
· Data elements to make sure the system is doing what is supposed to do, and if not– correcting that data
Work on reprocessing/refiling of past year forms
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.50 – $25.50 per hour
