JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conducting analytic assessment of the current IT Portfolio including identifying pain points, filling Policy gaps, correcting broken processes, and leveraging innovation and industry best practices
• Collaborating with government staff to stand up a cost management-working group to intelligently fund programs across the FYDP based on mission needs and available resources
• Conducting an acquisition and contract support assessment using a maturity model to baseline the current state
• Creating an implementation roadmap to resolve issues uncovered in the analytic assessment of the Portfolio
• Leveraging a project work plan with accompanying dates, goals, and milestones readily available across the enterprise on SharePoint
• Independently engage and interact with appropriate stakeholders to build business case analysis
• Independently analyzing a broad range of programs and disparate data sources to identify and recommend meaningful portfolio metrics
• Supporting and assisting with the creation of bi-weekly portfolio update briefs for Senior Leaders
• Independently analyzing and identifying dependencies across portfolios, document such dependencies, and communicate to stakeholders and senior leaders
• Independently analyzing new and existing technologies for relevance at the policy and strategy level and make recommendations accordingly
• Attend meetings with stakeholders across the customer and Interagency speak as necessary for the client and report resulting updates and action items
• Attend and organize meetings as necessary with stakeholders across the Interagency and analyze and communicate to stakeholders and Sr. Leaders the operational impact of updates and action items

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess 7 years and a bachelors degree or have equivalent experience
• Experience managing IT related projects utilizing project tools
• Comfortable working in a staff level position and have experience supporting the military with a preference in US Airforce
• Must be local to DC and willing to work remotely
