Infosys is seeking an AWS Cloud Senior Data Engineer with Technology Consulting experience in Cloud, Big data and Spark/ Scala. In this role, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, lead and participate in sales and pursuits focused on our clients’ business needs. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time
• Candidate is preferred to be in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to these locations. This position may require travel in the US
• At least 4 years of experience in AWS cloud
• Good knowledge of AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Athena, Glue.
• At least 6 years of SQL programming
• At least 2 years of Python scripting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Scala or Python, Big Query or Snowflake, Big Data (Spark), Kafka.
• Experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
• Strong experience in defining new architectures and driving an independent project from an architecture stand of point.
• Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments
• Strong experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance project.
• Experience managing team size of 4-8 would be a plus
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
