Responsibilities:
• Understand complex business needs, data requirements and then translate requirements into effective system solutions including improvements, new system features, reporting, visualization, and actionable insights.
• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of operating system requirements for workflow enhancements or reporting interfaces; as well as the collection and analysis of data for special projects
• Performs ad-hoc system workflow and data analyses
• Support the streamlining and automation of ad-hoc and standardized system functions.
• Interact with developers and users across the organization to ensure timely delivery of relevant and user-friendly system features, enhancements and reporting.
• Articulate and be influential for future database and predictive analytics development.
• Review business requirements with stakeholders and obtain their sign-off.
• Conduct UAT and log defects using Jira
• Work with Project Managers to set timeline and meet project deadlines;
Preferred Skills:
• 3 + years of working experience as business analyst who is a major contributor to complex business system solutions
• 3+ years of gathering business requirements, writing user stories, and conducting user acceptance testing
• Strong knowledge of and experience with database and data analytic programs such as Oracle, SQL Developer, Access, and Excel;
• Advanced SQL query skills and understanding of relational database principles.
• Excellent written communication, including validating/verifying and technical writing skills.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst in Case Management and Case Tracking Systems.
• Multi-tasking and ability to handle priorities as well as work against tight deadlines.
