Job Title: Lead Data Scientist
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract

As a Principal Data Scientist, follow and instruct others to follow ML best practices designed by the Technical Project Lead, administers them for small/medium scale projects, builds and tests algorithms to gain insights from data for the business to take next best action.
Responsibilities:
- Thorough understanding of the ML Engineering workflow
- Prepare small/medium scale projects and code for production
- Focus on data availability and quality check for Prod
- Leverage skills in: Python, SQL
- Thorough understanding of AI platform tech stack
- Code changes to experimentation code base provided as code review
- Leads and participates in code reviews in areas of solution knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Mentor junior and mid-level Data Scientists
- Self-driven individual, curious, focus on customer / member experience, strong communication and collaboration skills. Healthcare, Government experience is an advantage but not required.
Requirement:
- Intermediate ML concept knowledge and background – 7 years. (DT, ensemble methods, Neural Networks, SVM, Clustering, Association Rules.)
- Intermediate knowledge of EDA – 7 years.
- Ability to develop ML from standard libraries – 7 years. (Sklearn, XGBoost, Keras, H2O, etc.) as well as create custom model architectures (Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Equivalent of 7+ years of relevant experience
- Undergraduate degree in CS, Math, or another relevant field
