• Pull together complex and disparate data sources

• Execute a wide range of transformations, warehouse those data

• Put in place a data products CI/CD pipeline to produce scalable and flexible BI and analytical content in AWS/Azure

• Communicate with key business users, Data Scientists, IT Tech leads to understand requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics

• Demonstrated ability in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing techniques on-prem and cloud

• 2+ years experience with query language such as SQL/Hive/Spark-SQL

• 2+ years experience with scripting or computing language such as Python

• Experience building data products with AWS Services such as S3, Glue ETL, Glue Catalog, Athena, EMR, Redshift, Cloudwatch, Quicksight

• Experience developing dashboards, analytical reports and backend data solutions for front end tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight etc

• Experience with software version control tools (git)

• Experience working within a Linux computing environment, and use of command line tools including knowledge of scripting for automating common tasks

• Knowledge in building Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform

• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices in the context of Machine Learning

• A good understanding of Data Quality, Data Security, and Data Governance practices
