Job Location: Gurgaon
– Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information
– Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
– Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
– Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
– Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
– Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
– Optimize new and current database systems
– Define security and backup procedures
– Coordinate with the Data Science department to identify future needs and requirements
– Provide operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS)
– Architectural design and building data extensive applications, System Analysis, Design, Development and Maintenance
– Experience in data engineering tools and building automation solutions
– Data ingestion, conversion, migration and ETL in depth knowledge
– Experience in designing, developing, testing and supporting database applications
Skills Required
– High level of proficiency in procedural, object-oriented, and scripted programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Perl and Python
– Experience in cross platform development for multiple variants of Unix, Linux including 32 and 64 bit
– Experience with NoSQL, SQL databases, statistics and algorithms
– Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and related software stacks
– Strong oral and written communication skills.
