Role Requirement :
– Exposure in SAS and VBA for 2 to 5 years.
– Leveraging programming changes to existing SAS programs scripts in making them optimal. Provide analytical solutions as per requirement.
– Independently perform SAS programming and analysis support of data structures and database summaries, tables, and database applications
– Gathering business and functional requirements for new data platforms using the SAS (BASE SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, etc). Assist with migration-related tasks from SAS 9.2 to 9.4.
– Experience in SAS GRID
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact on managed processes in-light of changes migrations in the upstream systems – take remedial actions as necessary
– Partner closely with end users to discuss and understand issues. Trace issues from code to teradata tables and back to source files as needed. Train others on data workflows and first level problem resolution
– Hands-on experience in SAS Enterprise Guide
– Strong data analysis skills, decode the embedded SQLs within the SAS code
– Strong SQL skills, knowledge of Teradata tools and utilities, Mainframes, batch processes and Unix Skills
– Good understanding of the various data elements used in SAS (data sets, RDBMS, etc.)
– Basic knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, various components and tools
– Has worked in a Banking environment within acquisitionsexisting customer management collections. (Advantageous).
– MS Office skills: Excel (including pivot tables, and macro), Word and PowerPoint (intermediate).
– MI report development and assisting with other ad hoc reporting requirements.
