1. Data Crunching with SQL queries or Hive
– Business intelligence consultants must have an advanced knowledge of databases such as SQL server, Oracle, MySQL
2. Programming :
– Programming languages and experience in software development can be a strong asset (python)
3. Multiple technologies :
– Hands on experience on SQL, Tableau andor D3 Microstrategy
4. Strong data interpretation skills :
– Should have either experience on Tableau or D3 to interpret and present the data to client.
