Role: Analytics- R/SAS/Python
Level: Associate Vice President (AVP)
Industry: Analytics (Life Insurance)
Location: Gurgaon
Timings: 12pm to 9pm
Brief description of the role:
– Should be hands on with R/Python/SAS for statistical modelling and analysis.
– Develop and maintain a relationship with business stakeholders
– Brainstorming and innovation to provide a solution to business problems to add value to client’s business.
– Excellent Problem-solving skills required
– Work independently on complex analytical problems.
– Should be task oriented, self-starter and self-motivated
– Specify analysis tasks to generate insights
– Maintain high standards of quality
– Research and apply new methodologies to varied client situations
– Project Management
– Team Management
– Mentor/Coach junior resources.
– Hands-on/Guidance to a team for the development of statistical models as and when required.
– Candidate will be supporting US business, hence there will be a need to work in the 12-9pm shift.
Required Candidate profile
Candidate Profile:
Education/Qualification:
Mandatory: Should be IIT/IIM (Graduate / Post Graduate). Tiered colleges only.
Work Experience:
1. Flexible: 8+ years in the Analytics industry
Functional Skills:
1. Knowledge of R/Python/SAS
2. Good knowledge of statistical techniques.
3. Should have prior experience in Data handling/Manipulation
4. Writing/Troubleshooting codes for various analysis
5. SQL knowledge (Good to have)
6. Should be able to use optimized SQL queries to retrieve and process data from databases.
