JD for Data Scientist
Qualification : M Sc in Statistics/Mathematics or Any Science/ Engineering graduate
- Experiencein R, Python, Scala
- Experiencein Statistical Modelling and Machine learning Algorithms
- Proficiencyin Python, R or Scala orequivalent statistical analysis software.
- Experiencewith Cloud deployments isa plus (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experiencewith industry scale data mining and/or text mining.
- Experiencewith capturing, managing,and processing Big Data (terabytes of data present in web logs, documents,etc).
- Familiarity with relational databases (MS SQL,MySQL, Oracle) andnon-relational databases like MongoDB or Hadoop, query tools (e.g. Hive or Pig)and tools for distributed computation (e.g. Spark)
- Knowledge ofsoftware development design patterns is a plus
- The candidateshould also be proficient in converting the algorithmic proof of concepts intoproducts.
- Knowledge inData Warehouse and BI concepts is plus.
