Responsibilities

Translate business needs to technical specifications




Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)




Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting




Evaluate and improve existing BI systems




Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses




Create visualizations and reports for requested projects




Develop and update technical documentation




The incumbent would work as part of Analytics team to deliver Sales ,Finance and HR Business Analytics Project




Manage tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure they are completed on time with attention to delivering high quality results.




Work closely with the various IT teams (Internal and External) to consume new data sources, refine existing data source and build out data visualizations and self-service data access capabilities.

Qualifications

B.E/B Tech/MCA


Robust analytical and problem solving skill




Expertise in Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services, Cube Design & Modelling, Reporting, Dashboarding and Analytics using Power BI.




Experience connecting Microsoft Power BI to various data sources -IBM DB2, Hadoop Hive Data Sets Impala , SAS Data Sets, MS Excel, CSV, Text, MS Access, SQL Server, MySQL etc.




Demonstrable experience as a Power BI Developer and designer – clear understanding of related concepts such as DAX, Scripting, Security implementation & cube designing etc.




Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining




In-depth understanding of database & Data-warehouse concepts, online analytical processing (OLAP) & SQL




Extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing and supporting Microsoft Analytics technology area based solutions that includes SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI




Exposure in working on Azure will be preferred

Preferred qualifications

Experienced in Databases (DashDB, Oracle,Sql Server)




Demonstrable experience in Finance planning / HR /Sales modules and implementation of DWH/BI
