Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- VB Macro Analyst
In this role, you will be responsible to independently build data analysis around complex business problems from data available in the client owned or accessible systems. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities
Analysis of the existing excel tool and dependencies
Document the current functionality of the tool
Support the Users, having issues with the tool
Provide understanding of the tool, to the project team for tool modernization to a .NET platform
Existing Excel Macro tool created by the Engineering Team to more reliably and efficiently provide consistent frame layouts from repeat Custom Work Orders.
Tool is currently an Excel Macro program with Python scripts. The Python scripts pull vehicle spec data from the Mainframe DB2 into the Excel database and then push spec updates to IMS

Minimum qualifications
Preferred qualifications
Sound knowledge of EXCEL VBA Scripts
Debugging and investigative skillset
Knowledge of Python is add on
Knowledge of Splunk is add on
