• Works with Investment Management Data Science team in support of multiple Investment teams (across Equity, Fixed Income, Alternate asset classes) and allied teams, providing support for solving complex problems for their domain by developing a variety of Data Science solutions using Statistical and Machine Learning techniques.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Senior / Lead Data Scientist

• Data Preparation, Gathering and Analysis – Collects data from disparate systems, analyzes it, and delivers the data as intelligence that is actionable. Analyzes and interprets the results of research experiments through statistical models. Solves analytical problems utilizing large structured, semi-structured and un-structured data in a distributed processing environment (Required)

• Statistical Analysis Performs Data Mining and uses Advanced Analytic Techniques. Develops predictive, statistical, behavioral, or other models using supervised and un-supervised machine learning / statistical modeling techniques. Performs ad hoc statistical and data mining analyses (Required).

• Natural Language Processing applies NLP techniques for entity extraction, topic analysis, sentiment detection, abstractive / extractive summarization of documents (Required).

• Training, Research and Development – Conducts research on various advanced statistical techniques to apply to appropriate analytical problems (Required)

• Master s / Bachelor s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines, preferably from premier Institutes.

• 6#43; (for Senior) and 10#43;(for Lead) years of experience in Data Science, predictive modeling using Statistics and Machine learning

• Experience in Python, R or SAS, SQL and distributed computing
