Job Location: Branchburg, NJ
- Pay Rate: $50/hr
- Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (but should be flexible in terms of hours especially during the close)
- Get paid weekly (Every Friday)
Financial Analysis:
- Prepare monthly analysis for both ALAM, Inc. and ALAM Global: Focus on P&L (Sales, Volumes, Cost of Sales, Operating Income) as well as dashboards to facilitate detailed analysis in close collaboration with the Ops Controller
- Lead frequent financial reviews with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and create action plans as well as complex analysis
- Ensure the quality of data and reliability of information streams
- Interface with the Product Management team to monitor the profitability of ALAM products
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the monitoring and control tools used in the team
Strategic Business Planning:
- Prepare the Target and Reforecast process according to the timeframe in close collaboration with ALAM departments
- Coordinate with the ALAM Affiliates on Target and Reforecast Assumptions
Project management:
- Coordinate the SAP transition for the Ops control team, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
- Lead for the Ops control complex projects as the connection between SAP and Power BI
- Collaborate with ALAM departments to define and transform financial analysis needs into solutions focusing on delivering productivity and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with the Product Investments team to develop financial models
Champion the Efficiency Program:
- Led the efficiency program to ensure organizational focus and coordinated the reporting with Air Liquide Group and Americas Hub.
Ad hoc Studies:
- Carry out ad hoc complex studies if and when required
- Support Operations Controller with ad hoc reporting
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in business; Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or related field
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides
- Strong analytical skills and rigorous
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management/organization
- Transverse management skills
