Associate Product Specialist will work on a variety of projects related to enhancing Fixed Income Products. Following is the partial list of responsibilities:

• Be the first line of defense to answer questions about Fixed Income Analytics from sales/consulting and reconciliation team
• Undertake comprehensive testing of bugs and enhancements
• Integrate commercial data into fixed income and risk analytic engines
• Third party vendor testing
• Monitor nightly error log and propose cleanup solutions
• Monitor daily QA reports
• Actively manage and share ideas to improve work processes and output
• Develop and maintain internal documentation used within the team.
• Have a clear understanding of the clients needs and workflows
• Identify and respond to client demand for new initiatives and enhancements to analytics solutions
• Develop requirements specifications from business requirements and help engineering/QA to understand the same.
• Work with engineers to fix bugs, test enhancements, and manage releases and client migrations
• Work with Knowledge Management team to help write documentation as well as internal and external client communications

Eligibility criteria -Skills required, Education Experiences

• Undergraduate (Bachelors) degree in Math/ Statistics/ Engineering/ Finance or related field
• MBA Finance or Master s degree in some combination Mathematics/Statistics/Finance
• 0-4 years of experience dealing with portfolio analysis/equity analysis/fixed income analysis /portfolio optimization/MPT analysis at both conceptual and application level
• Knowledge of Fixed Income Products
• Articulate communicator, with excellent language skills – both oral and written
• Has good understanding of financial clients needs and workflows

• Liaise effectively (both written and oral) with engineers and data providers
• Ability to work independently and within a group
• Interest in learning modern technologies/knowledge
• Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle)
