Python NLP Engineer – Machine Learning

Job Description

With 3+ years experience of in software development in Python, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and unit-testing various modules of our product applications. Experience with common ML frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow – Understanding of the trade-offs between machine learning models on NLP tasks

Skills:

• Python developer – 3+yrs 
• Elastic Search – 1+yrs 
• Database – SQL, MongoDB 3+yrs 
• AWS or cloud/web hosting – 1+yrs 

Desired Qualification:

·        Proficient knowledge of programming in Python

·        Ability to wrangle both Unstructured and Structured data.

·        Work on research problems in information extraction, search and language processing.

·        Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch / TensorFlow / Keras.

• Comfortable with tools/libraries/APIs such as Hugging Face, flair, OpenAI, etc., and Transformer architectures – BERT, GPT2/3
• Hands-on experience on a few problems like Named Entity Recognition semantic search, sentiment/text classification, topic modeling, question answering, summarization, information retrieval/extraction, language generation/understanding, chatbots, etc.
• Experience with text data pre-processing, building pipelines, and parsing of data coming from different sources like PDFs, WebPages, APIs, etc.
• Extend ML libraries and frameworks to apply in NLP tasks
• Perform statistical analysis of results and refine models.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills
• Create language models from text data. These language models draw heavily from statistical, deep learning as well as rule-based research in recent times around building taggers, parsers, knowledge graph-based dictionaries, etc.
• Remain updated in the rapidly changing field of machine learning and NLP.
• Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, data regression, and rules-based models
• Work closely with product teams to implement algorithms that power user and developer-facing products
