Job Description:
1. Should have minimum 5+ years experience in Data Engineering
2. Should be passionate and knowledgeable about big data stacks.
3. Distributed Systems:: Spark, Hadoop, Presto, Hive, etc.
4. Message Queuing Systems:: Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc
5. Databases:: MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB
6. Search Engines: ElasticSearch
7. Hands on experience with SQL and expertise on any of the programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
8. Design, develop, test and maintain highly scalable data infrastructure
9. Build high performance integrated data pipelines
10. Ensure standardized metadata, access protocols, discovery mechanisms and quality checks
11. Integrate new big data technologies and tools into current infrastructure
12. Collaborate with data and tech team members to enhance the data platform
13. Design efficient data collection, storage and retrieval processes and also monitor them
14. Collaborate with various business domain owners to identify and refine opportunities for data-driven features develop a good business understanding
15. Define Impact, develop a data strategy and own the end-to-end execution.
16. Set goals, metrics and processes to objectively quantify, measure and track impact
17. Drive product strategy using data
18. Communicate the analytics model behavior/results to business and other stakeholders.
19. Responsible for carrying out technical risk analysis and reliability assessments
20. Responsible for the design of algorithms that require different models/methods to be used together
21. Apply strong understanding of data science techniques and libraries to business problems
22. Provide direction, mentorship and guidance to data scientists and engineers
23. Good to have understanding of data modeling principles, data warehousing and data mining concepts
24. Have fast learning capabilities, natural curiosity about technology and willingness to try out new technology advancements
25. Good understanding of rolling out features on production using A/B testing techniques
26. Good to have devops skills
