Job description
Reporting to: Chief Data Scientist
Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Research, design, implement, and deploy full-stack scalable statistical solutions to novel and R&D problems.
- .
- Work closely with business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making
- Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organization
- Build and enhance market prediction models utilizing quantitative problem solving and advanced statistical techniques.
- Formulating statistical models for our computerized trading strategies, developing systems to analyze and react to incoming data in real time, and creating tools for advanced mathematical modelling
- Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results
- Stay curious and enthusiastic about using algorithms to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work
- Adapt in start-ups fast paced work environment with high pressure deadlines and ambiguous problem statements etc.
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
- Experience in Cloud Data computing platforms like Azure, AWS, Google cloud will be a bonus.
Skills:
Must Have:
Proficiency in Python programming
In depth knowledge of statistics
Experience with data analysis and statistical modelling
Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
Cloud experience is a plus
Any machine learning experience is a plus
