The Data Engineer II will report to Senior Manager- Data Engineering responsible for Company Operations Data Engineering. Join us in driving the next revolution in games.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
- Translate needs into data models Support long-term solutions.
- Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.
- Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with all regulations.
- Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Troubleshoot and improve data systems.
- Recommend solutions to improve database systems.
- Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Educate staff members through training and individual support.
- Offer support by responding to system problems.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 Year IT College Degree/Masters preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modelling.
- Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
- Expertise in Snowflake including advanced features and utilities.
- Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
