Job Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- You will hire, train & lead a team of 5 to 10 ML engineers and data scientists to build models for information extraction from unstructured data.
- You will combine data sciences depth, programming expertise, and mathematical understanding of techniques to deliver state-of-the-art ML solutions for problem-solving across the enterprise.
- Conduct research and prototyping innovations; data and requirements gathering; solution scoping and architecture; consulting clients and client facing teams on advanced statistical and machine learning problems.
- Build data products in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Explore and recommend new tools and processes which can be leveraged across the data preparation pipeline for capabilities and efficiencies
- Communicate with clients and convert the requirement to product feature and sprint planning.
Requirements
- We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, with a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
- Previously handled team of at least 5+ DS and ML engineers.
- Data-oriented personality. Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Ability to create efficient solutions to complex problems. Strong skills in data-structures and ML algorithms.
- Experience of working on end-to-end data science pipeline: problem scoping, data gathering, EDA, modelling, insights, visualizations, monitoring and maintenance.
- Great communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- Working with OpenCV, TensorFlow and Keras
- Working with Python: Numpy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Pandas
- Familiarity with docker, kubernetes and MLops.
- Good knowledge of AWS or GCP infrastructure.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of NoSQL databases with hands-on experience in at least one database system.
