Consultant, Data Engineer (Data Architect)

What you’ll achieve
As a Consultant, Data Engineering, you will be responsible for mentoring junior team members on technical and functional skills. Should be a technical lead for the team and a great team player. Functional knowledge of business processes is required
You will:
• Oversees and designs the information architecture for the data warehouse, including all information structures i.e. staging area, data warehouse, data marts, operational data stores, oversees standardization of data definition, Oversees development of Physical and Logical modeling
• Inventories existing data design, including data flows and systems, Designs data Model that integrates new and existing environment, Develops
• Prepares flow charts, systems diagrams and design documentation to assist in problem analysis. Designs, codes, tests, and debugs software according to Dell’s standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Requirements
• 10 – 12 years of relevant IT experience in Data-Warehousing Technologies with excellent communication and Analytical skills
• Should possess experience working with ETL concepts, Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server/Greenplum as data warehouse databases, Very strong in SQL (DDL, DML, procedural), hands-on experience with technologies like Spark and Hadoop HDFS, Hive, Hbase, and Hands on experience on change capture and ingestion tools StreamSets, Informatica, knowledge on Kafka and Oracle GoldenGate
• Strong experience in Source code repositories like Git, SVN, and Jenkins
• Ability to discuss and defend Architectural decisions with a team of strong technical architects, Experience with Data Architecture, data profiling, data quality
Desirable Requirements
• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Applications
• Experience in working in Agile (SCRUM) Methodology
