Roles and Responsibilities

Dataflow is looking to hire an experienced application developer with rich experience in developing .Net applications for internal and external consumers. This highly responsible position involves using established work procedures to analyse, design, develop, implement, maintain, re-engineer and troubleshoot the applications. Successful candidates should be focussed on rapid delivery of high quality designs with an eye for the smaller details and a passion for designing and implementing structures that can stand the test of time.

• Working with JIRA stories to provide software applications that accurately meet design specs.
• Taking designs and requirements provided by analysts and turning them into high quality release-candidate products.
• Offering experienced points of view and ideas to the rest of the team in order to further productivity in the .Net space.
• Developing the highest standards of quality code
• Helping to create structure and rigour around the delivery process for all applications with enhanced structure around the release processes that are used
• Ensure that data and application security are considered at the very outset of development and through the lifecycle of deployment.
• Respond quickly to major incidents and outages, providing immediate workarounds and subsequent long-term fixes, and being the incident owner for large scale outages

1. Speed of delivery
2. Speed of incident resolution
3. Quality of delivery (reduced bugs and reusable code)
4. System up-time
5. Customer satisfaction

Desired Candidate Profile

BE, BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject

At least 3+ years experience of using .NET development as API Developer stack

Working experience in the following technical areas:

MVC 4.5, and Entity frameworks

ASP.NET, JQuery, & Javascript

Oracle DB, MSSQL and MongoDB database environments

Developing APIs with for a microservices environment, WCFs & Web APIs

JSON & XML data formatting SVN or Git source code management tools or similar

Amazon AWS public cloud architectures or experience of an alternative cloud-hosting provider JIRA

Creation of Windows Service (C#)

AWS SQS, S3 and filenet.

• Good English communication skills.
• Good to have:

Knockout and Angular JavaScript.

MSSQL database environments
