Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT systems, statistics, or engineering
2-5 years experience in a similar role
Strong SQL knowledge and the ability to write complex codes
Power BI developer experience
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Knowledge of business intelligence practices, data structures, data analysis and reporting
Ability to communicate complex/technical information in a simple and clear manner
Comfortable working in global cross-functional teams
Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary
The Main Responsibilities
- Building, management and execution of data architecture and development of appropriate solutions
- Creating, designing and developing data models
- Prepare plans for all ETL (Extract/Transformation/Load) procedures and architectures
- Validating results and creating business reports
- Monitoring and tuning data loads and queries
- Develop and prepare a schedule for a new data warehouse
- Maintain the integrity of the operational solution, ensuring that data is processed and presented correctly through reporting tools
- Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both engineers and non-engineers
- Administer all requirements and design various functional specifications for data
- Prepare various code designs and ensure efficient implementation of the same
- Evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project deliverables
- Monitor data warehouse work and provide subject matter expertise
