Remote Data Engineer Python Azure TSQL
We are an E- learning provider for College, Career School, and Highschool programs focused on accelerating the lives and careers of 300,000 annual students by providing affordable, accessible and career -focused education on the go for in demand jobs. Our fast-growing Data- Engineering team is in need of a Data Engineer to join our team in migrating our existing Data Lake to an Azure Databricks platform. Seeking candidates with experience converting legacy code to Python/PySpark allowing us to expand on our Analytics and Machine Learning capabilities
What You Will Be Doing
- Reading T-SQL code and re-writing in Pyspark
- Developing Python/Pyspark, and SQL based applications
- Code Reviews
- Work in an Agile Development process
What You Need for this Position
3+ years of
- Data Engineering
- Spark/PySpark
- Python
- SQL
Experience with:
- Large data centric and data migration projects
- Jira & Git
- Azure Cloud Environment
Nice to haves:
- Experience with DataBricks
- Experience with Tableu
- T-SQL
