Power BI Dashboard Developer
Job Description Summary
The Power BI Developer supports the Employee Experience & Services teams in making high-impact, data-driven decisions. The Power BI Developer is also responsible for the development of process and procedural documentation, ensuring global data architectures, develops and ensures quality assurance strategies, and partners with cross functional teams (TDS, HR, Finance, etc..) to enable effective decisions making and reporting quality.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Understand the various operations across Cushman and Wakefield geographically and functionally
Work in partnership with the Employee Experience & Services country leads/function leads to architect & develop analytical and operational dashboards and reports that represent large complex data sets from different sources through data visualizations and support automation and streamlining
Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to build presentations and reporting in a logical, audience friendly manner that drive effective fact based decisions, conversations, and assessment
Implements data best practices to ensure a common and recognizable visual language for all data users and sources
Support the development of efficient and value added processes by questioning and partnering to achieve desired outcomes
Ensures quality assurance by developing strategies including testing, auditing, data usage, and data ownership models.
Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Competencies:
Experience in an analytical role with experience in interpreting data, analyzing results to identify trends
Experience in HR Operations, Background Checks, Recruitment, Staffing, Payroll, etc.
Analytical mind set and ability to see the big picture and influence others.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to lead group discussions
Ability to manage through ambiguity where lines of ownership aren’t always clear.
Able to communicate complex messages and outputs from their analysis in a confident and ‘simple way.
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
DAX and Power Query knowledge is essential.
