Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand the business requirements, propose and develop scalable commercial solutions.
- Understand which model works better for the requirements, train and deploy production ready models.
- Performance profiling and Tuning.
- Understand the requirements, prioritize the deliverables, estimate and plan the tasks.
- Assist, mentor, train; junior and mid level data scientists.
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.
- Remain updated on the latest technologies and state of the art and make recommendations as necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficient in Python
- Hands on experience in technologies and tools related NLP, Deep learning, Machine learning
- Strong in problem solving, algorithms and data structures
- Hands on experience on multi gpu/ tpu training.
- Broad knowledge of machine learning algorithms and principles
- Familiarity with at least one of the cloud computing infrastructure – GCP/AWS
- Ability to work on large scale data (structured and unstructured) having applied fundamentals in data management, parallel computing and distributed systems
- Experience on Conversational AI is a plus
- Team mentoring and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment.
