Primary Skills
• Work with the Azure stack (Azure IoTHub, Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Power BI) to help build a modern platform for different reporting needs that will be sourced from a variety of applications including on-premises SQL-Server databases and Device telematics data.
• Orchestrate movement and transformation of data using Azure solutions.
• Build data and dimensional models to ingest and store data from various source systems.
• Design and build data pipelines, both batch, and streaming, into the Azure-based Data Platform.
• Create entities and relationships for use in Power BI.
• Provide architectural direction to various teams and work streams, balancing the strategic approach within the agile framework.
• Work with leadership to understand current needs in support of data strategy.
• Produce and maintain project documentation and present business user summarizations.
The candidate should also have –
• Experience in all phases of Software development life cycle, which includes software analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, debugging, maintenance and documentation etc.
• High degree of drive, energy, self-confidence, commitment and flexibility appropriate to a merit-based, client-facing environment
• Familiarity with Agile software development process and Scrum.
