About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be joining a team of awesome data nerds at Cloudside, solving
interesting problems in the space of Data Management, Database Migrations, Performance
Tuning, and Advanced Analytics
Skills
Min 2 – 4 years of experience
Strong database fundamentals. You are likely to have them if you worked as a DBA
before.
Prociency with Python. This skill is a must. Ability to automate tasks using Python.
Understanding and working knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem – Hadoop, Spark, Hive,
Preso
Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airow or ETL and like
Apache Ni-Fi Strong basics
Fundamentals of Operating Systems (Linux and Windows)
System design fundamentals
Experience with AWS or GCP preferred
Expertise in one of the RDBMS- SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and at least one
NoSQL database like MongoDB and Cassandra
Knowledge of Terraform / CloudFormation is a plus
Trained / Certied on GCP is a plus
Good understanding of shell scripting
