ROLE SUMMARY
The position of the Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing the SEC Reports (Form 10-K, 10-Q and press releases on Form 8-K), Internal Reporting and Management Reporting Dashboard. Also responsible for testing and maintaining the Internal Controls Framework used for FDICIA Reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for SEC reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q, and quarterly earnings releases on form 8-K). Ensures that reports are filed on a timely basis and that filings and documentation comply with company policies, SEC, and GAAP reporting guidelines.
- Develops and maintains supporting documents for all financial disclosures.
- Prepares monthly Dashboard report to the Board of Directors
- Prepares monthly yield/cost analysis
- Performs quarterly consolidation with the Holding Company
- Maintains the FDICIA Internal Controls Framework in the Finance area and assists with testing on a systematic basis throughout the year.
- Assists auditors/examiners in conducting their quarterly reviews and year-end audits. Prepares/provides schedules, checklists, and analyses as required.
- Prepares cost studies and profitability analysis
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required Education/Experience:
- 4-year College Degree required in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years’ experience in public accounting or with a publicly traded company, preferably a bank or financial service company.
- At least 2 years of SEC reporting and accounting policy experience required.
CERTIFICATIONS
- Certified Public Accountant preferred

- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate/advanced skill in Excel
