Role: Data Analyst- Machine Learning/Spotfire

Job Description:

This role calls for a data analyst, who will work on developing descriptive as well as Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence based solutions on equipment/ system/ service information based data in Energy/HVAC/ Refrigeration domain to figure out operational and design improvements, predictive maintenance opportunities, drive improvements in field service effectiveness and cost optimization.

This role is responsible for:

Understanding business and analytics requirements, devising methods/ prototypes, finding analytical solution, building ML models/ algorithms, and generating insights Establishing analysis levers and framework for performance measures and optimization solutions across verticals Designing efficient ways to solve known problems and improvise existing solutions Collaborating with teams to implement and drive new solutions Bringing insights in terms of patterns, parameters that influence the behavior of assets/ systems

Skills

Knowledge and deep understanding of statistical concepts and their application in machine learning algorithms on quantitative data. Hands on experience in designing, developing and fine-tuning ML solution and implementing it on large scale. Exposure to text analytics is desirable. Ability to incorporate and assimilate energy domain, conceptualize solutions considering associated limitations. Exposure to electromechanical systems functioning with good understanding of electrical/ mechanical operations such as HVAC systems, Refrigeration systems etc. is preferred. Other skills: Eye for detail, logical and deductive nature, ability to articulate a problem, work in team, creativity in problem solving, ability to learn and open mindedness. Tools: Hands on experience of tools such as Spotfire/ Tableau, R/ Python. Detail-oriented with high personal standard for quality. Good visualization skills and ability to represent analysis and formulate story.

Background: Engineering/ Science background with preference to Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or Physics/ Statistics
