Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing Data Analytics driven solutions for various business problems.
- Responsible for development of predictive modelling and machine-learning algorithm to address business solutions through structured or unstructured data.
- Responsible for identification of data sources (internal or external) for modelling.
- Support in providing documentation of model results.
- Support in improvement initiatives, best practices, and standards around Data Analytics
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist
- Experience in data mining and development of predictive model and machine-learning algorithms
- Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
- Analytical mind and business acumen
- Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) and Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
